Have you considered running the Midwest Industries top rail with pic mount all in one an then running an offset light mount off the mlok section? Would love to see your thoughts on that.

Never tried EWL as a solvent, only for lube. Will have to give it a whirl

Hi James thanks for the video. I was fortunate to just purchase a P9S target. Unfortunately it needs some help. The screw at the front of the trigger guard is not correct and I would like to change the buffer also at some point the previous owner put an optic on it I would like to put the original sights back. Can you give me some recommendations for parts. The pistol is dated 1973 thanks in advance

ive been running one since i was 10 in call of duty so theres nothing youre gonna say i dont already know. for instance drop shooting and dolphin diving. they dont teach that on the range. in all serious the only guys who n=know a thing about these are some swat guys and tier 1 units maybe tier 2 and some gun dudes that have way too much money

I am a former military vet as well, having been trained in 1911's and Berettas. I have since enjoyed both CZ and SIG DA/SA pistols more than the other striker variants. I do like the lighter trigger pull weights of my modified Glocks. But since the triggers are so light (3 to 4 pounds), I'm hesitant to leave a round in the chamber when carrying. I feel safer with a safety or even a heavier DA (less than 8 pounds) in my CZ customs or SIGs with a round in the chamber. If I'm not using my safeties, I carefully lower the hammer by hand and just expect the DA first shot. On my SIGs with decockers, I just use those. Having different pulls is my tradeoff, but I see it as a time issue. If I need to take the shot, I would just deal with the heavier DA. If I had time, I would just thumb the hammer back. I would like to get to a point where I can just draw and be prepared to shoot without the need to remember if I have a safety on or not. I was surfing the web this morning trying to understand if an LEM would help me or complicate me since most of my firearms are DA/SA, with some striker-fired Glocks and CZs. My JLD PTR91 Bolt gap is at 0.10mm and has all HK internals bolts would that be safe or should it need the Plus Rollers?

Great video ! I have a question ,about the safety/decock lever . In the video you say that the lever being on left or right are different variants. Can you switch the lever from left to right using the same lever ? or do i need to buy a lever for the right side specifically ?

I have two Model 4s with several conversions for each that I picked up either with the pistols or extras when found available. I never shoot the .380 cals due to the power but found the .32 and .22 very nice. The .32 kits are absolutely reliable in mine (maybe luck) and super accurate. I do find them a fine CC in .32 due to their weight and slim - slick design. I would pay good money for an example of an HK rerun of these. And a licensed copy would be good, like the Colt 1908 copy several years ago. Especially with a steel frame. (Any luck there?) THANKS! for the info.

Absolutely incredibly detailed insight into the P2000 to include USP, USPc, and both P2000 and P2000SK pistols. I have a significant number of HK pistols, starting from 1985 when I bought my first P7M8 largely due to the ambidextrous design. I then purchased a USPc in 45 which, although not ambi, gives me an appreciation for that era of HK pistol designs. Then I bought a new P30, two new VP9s, and lastly a new P2000SK. Thanks to the interchangeability of many HK pistols I then expanded my caliber choices on my P2000SK to have a 40SW slide and barrel for the SK and then finally a 357Sig barrel. The interchangeability is simplified by the magazines, as well, as the 357Sig rounds fit inside a 40SW magazine for the SK. I continued with my collecting onto my VP9s pistols by adding a VP40 slide and barrel to turn it into a VP40. My latest acquisition is the VP9 Match with the longer slide and barrel, and the cutout for a red dot sight (in my case I chose the Swedish Aimpoint ACRO). Despite years of HK ownership and use, I learned many more things from your video. You did a great job! One more piece of RARELY GOOD NEWS is that California has added the VP, VP9L and VP9SK to the approved handgun roster! I suspect that is because they may drop the P2000 lineup someday. On my Calif CCW I have a P7M8, my USPc 45, and the P2000SK which I carry 90% of the time due to the size. Again, an incredible video, worth every minute.
